Todd Newlin

My name is Todd Newlin and I’m from Columbus, Ohio.  I spent six years in the Active Duty Air Force before I separated and joined the Ohio Air National Guard so I could complete my college education.  I graduated from Ohio State University in the Spring of 2020, with a B.S. in Environmental Science with a focus on Environmental Molecular Science.

During my time in both Active Duty and in the National Guard, I had the opportunity to visit, work, and live in countries throughout the world.  This gave me a better understanding of what it means to be a global community.  I was able to witness just how easily and far pollution can spread from one area, be it a city, state, or country, into another.  EMAP has provided me a path through which I am able to develop the skills necessary to effect positive change on the environment, for the betterment of us all.

I am very excited to be a member of the EMAP class of 2022!  Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions, tn460@georgetown.edu
